Executive Administrative Assistant
CorTrans is currently seeking a qualified and responsible individual for the position of Executive Administrative Assistant.
Job Description: Provide high level administrative support to the both the CEO and President in the executive Corporate suite. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office; organizing and maintaining files and records; planning and scheduling meetings and appointments; preparing and editing correspondence, reports, and presentations; making travel and guest arrangements; providing quality customer service; working in a professional environment; answer telephones and transfer to appropriate extension; meet and greet clients and visitors; create and modify documents using Microsoft Office; perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing; maintain hard copy and electronic filing system; research, price and purchase office furniture and supplies; coordinate and maintain records for staff office space, telephones, parking, company credit cards, and office access cards; collect and maintain PC, laptop, and cell phone inventory; support the CEO and President along with staff in assigned project-based work; provide office orientation for new employees.
Job Requirements: College degree required. Emotional maturity and strong work ethic needed for this position. Must have strong work tenure of at least 5 years of experience supporting executives, preferably in a freight forwarder / transportation environment. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Teams, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms. Requires expert-level written and verbal communication skills, strong proactive approaches to problem solving, and strong interpersonal skills.
