A native of Laredo, Texas, and a graduate of St. Mary’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Bill put himself through college and built his career working for two airfreight and two freight forwarder companies, garnering more than six decades of expertise in the transportation industry. As a successful entrepreneur and community advocate, Bill has achieved recognition and respect in business, as well as among all who meet him.

When Bill started CorTrans Logistics in 1999, transportation and logistics was an industry that was expanding in so many directions, sometimes it seemed that strong company values were being forgotten as the field worked to find a new voice. It was important for Bill to take the best from his career in transportation bringing focus to the principals of integrity and customer centricity; he envisioned a team of experienced and dedicated people who put the customer first, were creative in analyzing solutions and remain flexible to changes whether in the industry or with the customer. Two decades later, he continues to lead the CTL team with passion, strength and empowerment, and the belief that everything is possible when you listen to your customer.
